Sustainability, resource and energy efficiency, and recycling, were the main themes of the CSW’s summer initiative Zielony Jazdów. With these issues in mind, we designed a series of workshops. These included D.I.Y. projects associated with energy autonomy, such as a rocket stove or a solar heater. We held presentations on sustainable architecture and natural building techniques. Together with the participants we built a straw-bale wall panel plastered with clay. We also held workshops on screen-printing and fabric upcycling.
